End of Abyss Cheat Codes: All Codes & How the Cryptograph Works

Hidden across the facility are cheat codes — wall markings you can only see while the scanner is active, logged as the “Codes” section of the logbook. They’re real cheats in the classic sense — infinite ammo, boosted survivability — and the game lets you turn them on. It also makes you pay for it.

How cheat codes work

Codes are found by scanning, activated through the Logbook — but only after you pick up the Cryptograph key item in the Lower Levels. Once you hold the Cryptograph, scanned codes can be toggled from the logbook’s Codes tab.

Read this before activating anything: turning codes on disables trophies on that save file. If you want the platinum, finish your trophy run — logbook completion, all endings, all upgrades — then flip the cheats on for a fun second save. Scanning codes never disables anything; only activation does.

Known code locations

Logbook ID	Code	Location	How to reach it
CO-001	Armor	Containment Sector > B1	Explosive Charge the metal ball on the wall, then scan the opening
CO-002	Infinite Ammo	Communication Center > F3	Left side of the tower: ladder up, room on the left, Explosive Charge through to the next room — code inside the locker
CO-003	Infinite Health Boosters	Infirmary > B1	Grappling Hook the mortuary drawer open
CO-004	Infinite Equipment	Outer Sector > B2	Via the Maintenance floor-hole route back to the Outer Sector
CO-005	???	Undocumented	The logbook lists this slot but no location has been found yet — even completionist guides are still hunting
CO-006	Big Knife	Habitation Sector > B1	Same keycard chain as Data Shard 2 — the code is on the wall of the third cell

Are these “redeem codes”?

No — there’s no promo-code or redemption system in the game. These are in-world collectibles discovered through play, closer to classic button-cheats than anything a storefront hands out. Anything claiming to be an “End of Abyss redeem code” online is misinformation.

Efficient hunting

• Pair Infinite Ammo with the Comms Center vault (Vitality Mk. II) on the same trip.
• Big Knife and Armor slot naturally into the Data Shard 2 and Shard 7 routes respectively.
• Infinite Equipment rides along with the Support Gun run — same corridor.
• Scan every wall in unusual rooms as a habit — codes never appear where you’d think to look twice.
