How much does End of Abyss cost?

End of Abyss costs $29.99 — one price, one edition, on every storefront. That buys the full single-player game, rated ESRB Teen, developed by Section 9 Interactive — the Malmö studio staffed by former Little Nightmares developers — and published by Epic Games Publishing.

Where can you pre-order End of Abyss?

Three storefronts, one per platform family:

• PlayStation Store — the PS5 version.
• Xbox Store — the Xbox Series X and Series S version.

All three listings carry the same $29.99 price and the same single edition — there is no store-exclusive version to hunt for and no platform getting extra content.

Are there deluxe or collector’s editions?

No. A single $29.99 edition is the only listing on any store. There is no deluxe tier, no ultimate bundle, no separate season pass listing — buying End of Abyss is a one-button decision wherever you shop. If any additional edition appears before launch, we’ll update this page, but as of September 21, 2026 the base game is the entire catalog.

Are there pre-order bonuses?

No pre-order bonuses have been announced. No exclusive cosmetics, no early access window, no pre-order-only weapons or items have been revealed for any platform. Pre-ordering today gets you the same game that waiting for launch-day reviews gets you — nothing more, nothing locked away. If that changes before October 1, this page gets updated with the details.

What discounts can you get?

Two, both platform-specific:

• PS Plus members get 10% off the PS5 pre-order, running through launch day on October 1, 2026.
• Epic Rewards gives 5% back on Epic Games Store purchases — that is Epic’s store-wide rewards program, not an End of Abyss promotion, but it applies to your pre-order all the same.

On Xbox, no discount has been announced. Between the mid-tier $29.99 price and, on PlayStation, the PS Plus discount, the buy-in here is low by full-release standards.

When does End of Abyss launch?

October 1, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Epic Games Store. It is a single-player game — one player, one descent, no multiplayer component. How confident should you be in that release date?

Confident — the date has been public and stable for months. End of Abyss was first revealed at Summer Game Fest on June 6, 2025, and the release-date trailer shown at Summer Game Fest in June 2026 confirmed October 1, 2026. A behind-the-scenes developer diary series from Section 9 Interactive has been running through September 2026 as the final run-up to launch. This is not a date that appeared overnight; it was announced twice, a year apart, and has not moved since.

Is it worth pre-ordering, or should you wait?

There is no wrong answer — the honest math is symmetrical. Nothing is locked behind a pre-order, so waiting for reviews costs you nothing except, on PlayStation, the PS Plus 10% discount, which ends on launch day. Pre-ordering costs you nothing either, beyond committing before anyone has reviewed the release build. The only concrete incentive on the board is that PS Plus discount; everything else is preference. Whenever you buy, the game waiting for you is the same one — a hard, single-player descent that previews have rated highly.
