End of Abyss Security Rifle Location: The Hidden Factory East Weapon

The Security Rifle is End of Abyss’s first optional weapon — an automatic rifle stashed in a sealed security cache in Factory East. It’s a genuine hidden pickup: the story walks within meters of it, but the wall hiding it only opens to an Explosive Charge.

Where to find the Security Rifle

Factory East > F2, inside a blasted-out room beside the Factory East Fast Travel Shuttle. You need two story items first — both unmissable:

1. Factory Keycard — picked up in Factory East itself during walkthrough part 2.
2. Explosive Charge — the tool earned in Factory West during walkthrough part 3. Charges are craftable at safe-room workbenches if you’re out.

With both in hand:

1. Ride the Shuttle to Factory East and enter the small room off the large room near the Shuttle — it needs the Factory Keycard.
2. Plant an Explosive Charge on the left wall and detonate it.
3. Step through the hole: the Security Rifle is inside.

You can grab it as soon as Part 3 hands you charges — no boss, no key hunt beyond what’s on the critical path.

Where does it fit in the kit?

The Security Rifle is the sustained-fire answer between the free Pulse Gun and the scarce-shell Riot Breaker. Automatic fire trades the shotgun’s burst for steady output — it shreds at mid-range, handles the mobile targets that waste shotgun shells, and gives bosses like the Security Sentinel or Radiation Host constant pressure through their recovery windows.

One skill note: the silver “Focused” trophy asks you to kill multiple enemies with a single Security Rifle shot — rounds punch through targets, so line up a crowd in a doorway or wait for Head Crawlers to swarm in a row.
